Today I am thankful I am a line cook. I learn how to be better at my job every day. I love how it challenges and pushes me, and I'm thrilled to see the progress in myself and know I am way more confident now than I ever have been. I thrive off of the days that are nonstop battles, testing my skills, revealing all I still have to learn. I am thankful for kitchen camaraderie. The core of a kitchen is like a family. I can't imagine doing anything else. I'll admit there are times I cannot wait to be done with the day, but I'm always eager to go back for more. I have goals and I intend on reaching them.
